Nadalaya celebrated the birth centenary of Paramaguru Sathur Sri A.G. Subramaniam in June 2016. The concert comprised of renditions of songs that he often performed including a medley of the Pallavis of such compositions. Along with a photo essay of his life, we had many famous artistes who accompanied him in his concerts chime in through video. They reminisced about his style of singing rooted in traditional Carnatic music, his knowledge of multiple languages that resulted in rendering songs filled with "Bhava" and their experience of his generosity and devotion. The occasion was enhanced by the presence and blessings of Smt. Lakshmi Sundaram, his daughter and disciple, and the guru of Smt. Shanthi Shriram.
